What does your Panther chameleons need to weigh to breed male and female

In my experience, it's more about physical maturity that weight. If the female has receptive coloring and both chameleons have adult traits and around a year(older the better) and you have appropriate set ups/materials you are good to go. Just make sure you have everything ready BEFORE you try your hand at breeding

It is recommented to wait until over one year in age, in good health and of a good size. You could post pictures here and the experienced senior members could tell you how they look. Breeding can be very expensive so be prepared. You should find this older thread helpful.

I can attest to this! I am waiting for my first clutch to hatch and so far I have spent nearly $2000 to get everything setup for the babies. I was calculating what I still need to purchase, just last night, and I still have about $1000 to spend before everything is ready. That does not even include feeding the little ones, which is likely to cost $200 - $300 a month.

I am not telling you this to discourage you from breeding, just to prepare you for it. Be ready to hemorrhage money for a while.
