Can anyone tell me the locale?

No, most panthers have the line which is called a lateral line. It is usually blue in or white and may vary in length and thickness. I also think it is an Ambilobe, but some of the younger Sambavas look like that also. The Sambavas usually have a trademark "u "bar" where the second bar forms past the head, where as the Ambilobes have a "v" bar. By u and v I mean they are shaped like the letter u and v. I had a Sambava named Romeo if you want to check out my photo albums to see what I mean.
