Blue or Red

This is my boy Binks, asleep. To me he looks blue bar in this but then sometimes when I get him out he's really yellow and has red bars. He's only 5 months old and not sure. Any ideas?

I know his father has red bar in him and has produced red bar babies in the same clutch as my boy. I hope this helps. I will try and get a picture of him when he's yellow, hes camera shy

You little guy looks great! He is most likely a Red/Blue bar Ambilobe. Some people call it a Purple Bar as when he shows off both the red and the blue it produces a purple look to his baring.

Thank you, the woman who bred him told us he was too young to say what he was, me and my partner have researched since he started showing his colours, but came to no conclusion, and nowhere said anything about the Red/Blue bar.
