What is this? Obvious dark patches while sleeping.

I am struggling with temps. They are mid 70s now at basking with a 60w incandescent. I believe the burns occurred using a CHE, which I have stopped using. Just wanted to make sure. Hope they heal OK.

A vet visit would be a good idea. He may need some treatment to prevent/treat possible infection. A husbandry review would also be a good idea. https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/ Make sure to include pics of your entire enclosure, including lights and floor and pics of your cham from different angles.

Flamazine cream on them would help stop infection.

Test your basking lights by placing your hand as close to them as you possibly can place your hand inside the cage...if you want to move your hand then they are too close and will burn him again.
