Black spot on front of casque

I have noticed a black spot on my chameleons nose area, wondering if it will go away or if I need to get it checked

No idea what that is, but wondering if it’s a bit of plant debris. The spot on the right looks like it’s ever so slightly higher than the scales. Have you taken a moistened a tip and gently tried to move/remove it?

I would try what @MissSkittles suggested and if that isn’t what it is keep an eye one it for a couple of days to see if it changes…and let us know what happens.
