Black marks

Hey guys I'm a relatively new chameleon owner and wanted some opinions. Randall is a 5 month old Veiled, so he is of course shedding quite often. After his last shed about a week ago I noticed he now has some black zebra like stripes on his face around his eyes which don't seem to disappear even when he is totally relaxed and sleeping. I was just curious if this should be anything of alarm. Most of his other markings and colors change quite frequently. He doesn't seem to get stressed often until I mist his cage, he isn't too fond of being handled, I hope this will change as my relationship develops as he gets older. I've owned him for about 2 months now and I've only held him once. I don't want to force myself on him. Anyone else have Veilds with premanent makings like this? -Mark

That's normal. my first post here was the exact same question. I've had my veiled chameleon since May and have held him 2 times and the last time he tried to jump out of my hands. Most veileds don't like to be held
