I know Chams like a major temperature drop to about 55 degrees.. So I find that night incandescent bulbs are not necessary. I purchased one any way when I got my cham but I wanted to know if I even need it? Its a 75 watt that maxes to 82 degrees.

does it get below 50 degrees in your house with the Ac on? If not, you don't need one!!!

No not at all!! It gets to be.. Well when the air is on at night it says around 65 or so.. I just didn't know because of how dry it gets. I mist it before I go to bed and after I wake up to try and restore humidity after I sleep.

Don't mist before you got to bed. You really don't want the cage all wet as it will not dry out with the lights off very well. 65 degrees does not require a heat light at night..

Yeah I wouldn't recommend the night light because they, i would imagine, would like it to be very dark in their cages. It is not forbidden in your enclosure, you can obviously do what you want we would never know. But if you are going to do it make sure its like the ice age in there lol and like carol said if it does get very cold don't mist before, it will cause a big temp drop and it doesn't dry up as well.

OH and I forgot to add if you are really concerned about the temperature at night, I would get a ceramic Emmiter)if thats how you spell it) to put in there, it doesn't put off any light just heat

You could run a cold air humidifier to help maintain the humidty in the room.
