black edges of casque?

I've noticed that parts of his casque have become gray/black over time. I've looked it up and a lot of answers say that gray/black casque usually means a burn but I'm almost 100% sure that isn't it. Do they sometimes just get this color? (He's a little older than a year)

Yeah it can happen. It looks to symmetrical to be a burn and if the burn eyes so close to his eyes they should be shut too. Im no expert just so you know but my opinion is that he’s fine!

NOT a burn... These are his markings... :) Some pull blacks. Beman does when he is about to attack my finger lol. He is stunning!
