biting biovines?

my ambanja juvi cham that i just got a new cage for in the mail today and when i put him in there he went straight to the basking spot and he started biting the biovines like if it was food lol does any of your chams do that?

yeah they will bite on branches, vines, rocks and other items! As long as it is something they cannot swallow then not to worry!

who knows why they do it?? Mine only chews on the tail of these big fake Toucans I have hanging out in my tiki patio bar. He cannot break it off so I don't worry about it too much! It is the craziest thing to watch though! lol
