So I'm upgrading from a 16x16x30 to his adult 24x24x48. I've seen that some light fixtures have stops for 2 UVB bulbs. I was wondering if my fixture with 1 will work ok.
Bigger cage/ more lights?

yes i only have 1 light bulb in my cages that are the same size

What exactly are you using now?
I use a two bulb linear T5 fixture so I can hold a UVB bulb, and a plant grow bulb. It really helps the plants a LOT. Its not necessary though.

Right now it's the repti sun 5.0 I believe. And it's in a larger fixture to accommodate a bigger cage. I just didn't know why they made fixtures that hold 2 bulbs.

Ahh, I see. Your chameleon will still get what it needs from that bulb.
