Bigappleherp Cage

I have owned many reptarium cages, in many sizes for my chams. I feel they are great cages for people on a budget, but not as good as a screen enclosure.

Not sure if you are aware or not, but reptariums are made from pvc piping, and mesh. When you put the pvc together, you will notice it is very thin and can crack very easily. Also, the mesh tends to fit a bit loose, which is kind of annoying when you place your lights on top. The weight causes the mesh on top to droop down. Another con is it isn't as easy to see your cham in this enclosure, as opposed the a regular screen enclosure, regardless of lighting. You also have to make sure your heat lamp is high off of the mesh, otherwise it WILL melt the mesh. You will need a deep dome fixture.

On the plus side it is very easy to move them due to the light weight, and also very easy to attach vines ect. to the sides of the enclosure with uvb resistant zip ties. It is easy to fit them through the mesh. Oh, and the price of course! ;)

I'm not real sure how you plan on splitting an enclosure of this type. Maybe it is me, but I can't picture that in my head. I would do some serious research on the reptarium as opposed to a screen enclosure, and make sure it is what you are really looking for.
