Hi I want to get a panther but the only spot I have in the house is the tv room where there are lights on ,dogs and a running baby all night long . things do not go dark and calm until 10:30 /11 pm or I can put it in my garage where things are much calmer but not as warm as the house. the garage does have partial heating so it really does not go below 50 at night and at rare times I have to open the garage door for a few min. to get something out like the snow blower. I also do not get home most nights until 7 or 8 which spot would be the best
any input would be helpful thanks

you can cover the cage to prevent lights from bothering the sleep schedule at night.

sounds wont bother your cham as they are for all intensive purposes- deaf.

I have been doing a lot of reading and I did see that but I also read that they use vibration too know what is going on so how would the rumble from the tv ( 7-1 surround sound) and my granddaughter running in and out of the room thousand times a hour effect them also what time is the latest I could cover them to put the to sleep.

I would not put them to sleep any later than 12 hours after they've been awakened.

They are not as roused by vibration as much as light. Turn the lights off, turn the sound lower, maybe cover the cages and they should definitely go to sleep.
