hi,
i am trying to decide where to buy some cages from.... the reptibreezes look attractive but im seeing that people are saying to stay away from them. how about from LLL or sandfire? any ideas? thanks,
louie

I am a believer in LLL cages. I have a house full of them with no problems. Unlike a lot of people I try to never take mine apart once I put them together. I fell it can make them not fit securely together. jmo

You can save a ton of money making your cage just using pvc piping and fiber glass mesh. You will need a metal top to hold the lights.

Only thing is you will have to cup feed or have a container to hold the feeders for you.

I'm gunna start making these and I'll post pix up soon

Both LLL Reptile and DIYcages.com make quality products, altough IMHO the DIY cages are slightly better.

I have one of the reptibreezes and it works pretty well, my only complaint about it is the bottom pannel. It fits in the bottom but there is still enough space for water to seep through the bottom. Other than that minor issue (which is easy to fix) I can't say anything bad about it. The large one here (http://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptibreeze-aluminum-screen-cages.html) is only $55 and shipping is $10 no matter how much you buy. Might be worth considering.

are you guys talking about LLL aluminum cages or their cages that zip shut?

Yeah like Ryan said go with the aluminum screen cages. The zipper on those cages is junk and will eventually fail. Screen cages will last for years without needing to be replaced.
