Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled male, 4-5 mos, 2 days in my care
Handling - not since taking him out of the box
Feeding - medium Crickets tried offering a mealworm yesterday to no avail. 4 crickets in the morning bout an hour after the lights go on, I have seen him eat twice and the crickets disappear throughout the day. I let them crawl up the mesh. Homemade gutload with a bunch of fruits and veggies and grains, occasional tiny sprinkle of the fluckers dry gutload.
Supplements - Fluckers with D3 (havent used it yet, planning alternate sundays) repivite (also haven't used it) and repticalcium without d3 every feeding so far)
Watering - Hand misting with a spray bottle every 3-4 hrs. I have been seeing him drinking. EDIT: I also have a little dripper on throughout most the day.
Fecal Description - hasn't pooped yet (a concern) No he hasn't been tested for parasites.
History - He's very angry still and wont stand for being looked at. :C
Cage Info:
Cage Type - screen reptibreeze large 18X18X30
Lighting -60W housebulb and a linear reptisun 5.0 on at 7am off at 7pm
Temperature - 70 on the floor and 85 up top Lowest overnight temp is 50-60 depending on how the weather is outside. a gauge thermometer.
Humidity - 50% when driest 80% right after misting, (we have a problem with humididty in my house and have a dehumidifier in the other room to prevent mold.) using a gauge.
Plants - A live ficus bejamina and an orchid, waiting for my rubber tree to get bigger to add that.
Placement - The cage is in our living room area, it is about 3 feet from a heater so that it is in the warmest location during the winter. the top of the cage is 5 feet of the ground, in a high traffic area (there's no where else for him to go.
Location - Missoula Montana.
Problem, Seen him eating and not basking, and he still hasn't pooped, hiding in his tree all day.
