Basking temp

I have a xanth jackson cham.. what should the baskong temp be i currently have a 150xanth baskong bulb bit i think its to hot as he hides in the shade and sits on the floor wich is fresh... im tring a 60watt house bulb to see how that goes
 
Ok thanks everyone but i am often told that 80-85is too high and i am heating him up.... not neing snappy but just saying what i have neen told

i give all my montanes a very small basking site of about 80 degrees, the ambient temp is closer to 70 so they can choose.
they often bask for a hour or so in the late morn, and then move off to cooler areas of the cage.
