I have been looking for a 75 w standard incandescent bulb for my chameleons cage. as of right now I am getting by with one of those red bulbs. They have a short life and are bad for my cham's eyes, but I could not find any standard incandescents at the stores near me. Would that work for my cham? The basking spot is about 4 or 5 inches away from the bulb. That bulb is a 75 W. Do you think I should go higher or lower with the wattage?
