Hey everyone,
Just a little word of advice when purchasing incandescent basking bulbs. I have noticed more and more recently that a 60 watt bulb is getting harder and harder to come by. (I'm sure it is the same with other wattages) Many packages are stating 60 watt, but in reality are stating that they are "equivalent" to 60 watts. Some are actually more like 40 watts. There can be a tremendous difference in lumens ranging from around 600 to well over 800! Make sure to check your basking site temps after replacing the bulbs, you may need a higher wattage then usual to achieve the same result.
