It pains me to see pictures of chameleons with a bark-chip style substrate in their cages. I am not sure what they are thinking, as crickets do get on the bottom of the cage, even when using deep feeding cups. Then the chameleon is in danger of ingesting impaction-causing materials. Wood chip type substrates of any kind are not suitable for any reptile, period.
