Bamboo?

Hi, I'm new to the whole chameleon thing. I'm am getting a veiled chameleon in 2 weeks and I am in the process of setting up his cage. I would like to know if some bamboo plants would be safe for a chameleon. Any other advice you guys can give me would be helpful. Thank you!

I have not used live Bamboo but do use it for my cages as it does not hold moisture or rot. I purchased several sizes at Lowes in the garden center. I used it to replace wooden dowels and have been very happy with the results.
