Bamboo screen cages "Build"

I am harvesting bamboo this weekend and im sure someone else have tried using bamboo to construct their cages. Just looking for ideas on how to construct the actual structure with the wire. How i should connect the bamboo? Wire, twine,nails, bolts?...

I would try hot glue because if the bamboo isnt thick and hard the nail will problably split it

I was going to suggest twine... As soon as I read this, all this building ideals came to mind! I could picture it in my head lol. But main thing I could think of is, make sure that you let that bamboo dry out.

Yea ill properly cure it. Would just tied twine around it support the frame? I was thinking using some glue to cover over it after I'm done.

How about silicone? Im not a builder so silicone may be a dumb idea but it may be an option because it can hold pretty well.
