I have a 6 month old Panther, I got him about a month ago. He seems to be doing well. I am afraid of crickets and I don't want to pull off their back legs, so I have been feeding him dubia roaches. He loves them, but that is all he will eat. I tried silk worms but he was scared of them. I tried earthworms, but same reaction, it was like a snake was chasing him. Is there anything else I can try? Are roaches enough to live off of? He eats 3 a day, is that enough?

Hi there no worries, please be very patience with these adorable chameleon, its like a baby, they can being pretty picky on their food,I will highly suggest when you introduce a new type of feeder to him,do it early time of the day and especially when he is very hungry and active, let him see the movement of the feeder to attract their attention, soon or later ,persistence beats resistance he will open his mouth and shot that tongue out so fast,is like trying to use chopsticks to catch a fly...so precisely,u might need to look at him more than twice to realize the feeder are already gone..happy holiday my friend.
