Baking Sticks

baking is not really necessary. As long as they are not sappy and full of bugs you can wash with some soapy water, let dry in the sun and you are good to go. I have never baked a single branch

i'm like a over protected mom with my chams. if i see even a slight weight loss/gain or a discoloration or any little thing i flip out.... i make sure everything is safe and if there is a possibility its not then it wont get near my chams

I'd do 350 for 30 minutes misting occasionally so they don't catch fire.. or put em in a tub and poor a big pot of boiling water over them and let em sit then dry

ok great! i will bake them :) i have big ones in the yard that would be great for my free range so i'll do the water on those :D just pour the water on or soak them?

Just poor it over them in a bathtub so there covered. Id use a large sauce pan like a 3 gallon or so.. let em soak for a minute or two them dry I use a hair drier to accelerate it as well as added bacteria killing heat..
