*male veiled chameleon. Noticed he is rubbing one eye on branches in cage. he bulges it out and it is slightly discolored when he does that. i just bought him about two weeks ago. Other than that he is fine and seems like an average baby. Very active but tends to run away from and sort of handling, but once hes out of his cage he is fine. He often puffs out his neck and opens his mouth to hiss. I dont want to think he is having eye problems already so please give any advice, I'm open to anything you guys have to say and if i should be doing ANYTHING differently. Also I have terramycin I applied to his eye, around the area he bulges out. But this freaked me out becausehe wouldnt open his eye and was hissing alot, it did no harm but I dont know if i should apply again since he's so young. He opens both of his eyes and they look fine, but when he bulges it out i know it cant be good. Noticed this about a week ago and it is now happening more than the other days. so I'm just trying to solve this issue before it gets worse. Please read this and let me know if i should keep applying terramycin!
