Baby rudis!

Hi guys I'm new here. I'd like you to meet my new baby Jesse. This is my second Cham. Or 3rd actually. I had 2 veiled male and female at about 7-9weeks old. I loved them. However I learned and witnessed them fighting. Was pretty sad cus I had a small repti breeze cage for the both of them. I had to let em go and found a more exp owner than me. Anywho now I have this cute lil rudis! Ever since j got him I've been looking into rudis and just found out right now about those red rudis. Omg those are sick looking chameleons. Could my Jesse be one of those red rudis? ( if you look closely he's showing some red in his side, unless I'm imagining it to be there ) I was told its a male, confirm please? Thanks

Sex my rudis please

Hi again guys. Please help sexing my rudis pair. 1 supposed to be male n 1 a female. Thank you appreciate it. Here are the pics. I believe the Cham in the front is a male. I hope and the back is female.

The word or term rudis is a bit of a misnomer in the hobby. True Trioceros rudis are rarely exported and most specimens called rudis are, in fact, Trioceros sternfeldi. This is what you have. They can exhibit some slight reds at birth but overall they are green or green and yellow.

There is a red version called Trioceros hanangensis and here is what a baby and an adult looks like. Note the blue eyes on both:

I merged your two threads. It’s hard to say from your photos but I’d suspect you have a male from the first pictures but obviously we need better ones of each animal (closer, separate with tail straight out) for us to say either way.
