Baby Nosy be

Well, i have had Apollo for about a month now and i am happy to say that he is doing great! I purchased him from a local breeder for 50 dollars when he was about 1.5 months old -he is approximately 2.5 months old today. I have never bred F. pardalis before and i have never owned a pardalis neonate as young as Apollo, so I am wondering if I am right about his sex. I purchased my 5 month old ambilobe at 3.5 months, so it was a bit easier to sex him. Based on his prominent bars, and the fact that he occasionally shows blue pigments behind his eyes, i think he is a male. However, I don't see much of a hemi-bulge; although he may still be a bit young to manifest one. To anyone with more pardalis experience, your opinion regarding this chameleon's sex would be greatly appreciated.:D

I am certainly no expert but he looks alot like my female Nosy. She gets the blue by her eyes.

ya my first cham was a male nosy be, and sadly he only lived to be less than 2 months old, and he was showing much more blue than that one. it seems to have the colorings of a male. But I definitley am not an expert by any means.

Ok, first thing's first. 50 bucks?!?! Nice work!

You're right, you're not going to see any "bulge" yet because the animal is not mature, and doesn't need it yet. You can still be pretty acurate based on how the tail tapers at the base. I'd say male for yours, but I can't look at those pics for long without feeling a little carsick haha. The last one is good, but the angle is a little high to tell for sure, but I'd say male. Could we get one like that, but lower like the first two?

Hehe, yeah. I would have bought the entire clutch at that price, but he was the only one left. :D I am going to post some under-view pictures of this little guy as soon as my camera charges a bit. Sorry for the poor pic quality.:)

i just got into panthers like 2 months ago , but iv owned a breeding pair for about 3 weeks now and they are just 2 months old and my male is already throughing blues all over his head and now his legs and feet are turning bluer each day and hes got abit of blue markings on his back side and his eye turrets turn red with blue lines so he should be nice looking fella and hes only 2 months and a couple days old ahahaha and my male soo looks like your fella there , so im gona go with kent and say hes male forsure , one thing i was taught about them is if its female nosy be and you piss them she will through reds in her throat ahaha not that im recommending you to stress him out but its a way to tell if they are female , but hope this helps yea out some and hes gona be nice one ahah hes just holding his colours back to show off when hes mature! hahaha and good luck with him
