Baby Gizmo is starting to shed

When I look at Gizmo this morning, I saw that he was beginning his shed. The skin has not split yet, but it obviously is in the first stages. My question is - how long does it "normally" take for a shed to complete? It's been 10 years since I've gone through this and I just can't recall.

He will be done shedding in a few hours. When they are young the ditch the skin fast.

You are absolutely right. I went back to check and he was twisting and rubbing and it was peeling off left and right.

Just wish I'd had a camera - there were a couple of times when he looked hilarious - I was laughing so much my husband had to come in to see what was so funny
