Artificial Silk Plants

Hello everyone...I know that using live plants is the preferred method for chameleons and their enclosures, but wanted to ask opinions of a combination of both live & silk plants? Is it a good idea or better to just stick with live plants throughout? Thanks!

I used a schleffera and a fake plant combination, the cham loved the real plant and never really went around the fake plant.
