What do you think it is?
Thanks Trace,In the past we have had some problems with overzealous members giving advice to new owners about their CB Veiled Chameleon when in fact it was a near deaths door WC Flapneck Chameleon. If people can’t make that simple ID then the new owner and more importantly the animal suffers because of improper husbandry advice and misinformation.
This is the reason we require reasons to back up your conclusion in this forum. We don’t want simply that is a Flapneck Chameleon but reasons why it is like ear flaps or scalation or spurs or whatever.
Initially this particular category was set up so people could get positive ID’s on the species of their chameleons only and locality and sexing questions were left in the General Discussion but we have become more lax about that. So to stop the confusion about the confidence and burden of proof should we go back to having this a specific ID category only?
