Arcadia T5 HO UVB bulb break in?

So I am going to be getting one of the 6% UVB bulbs in the coming month for my guys big boy cage :). Curious with a reflector as well as being high output how much transition I will need to do or break in?
HO vs regular....
I had also contemplated just the regular arcadia 6% instead of high out put. I have heard even the regular bulb is brighter than other UVB brands.

Who has the arcadia 6% and is it HO or regular output and how do you like it?

Had my carpet cham under the arcadia 6.0 since i got him. He seems to be doin just fine. I still like to get him as much natural light as possible but its been a lil too cold for that. Maybe someone will correct me, but if im not mistaken the HO, i think, refers to the lower power consumption bit higher output of light. I dont think theres any break in time

I don't know of any break in required. I did convert one cage from the regular 6% to the High out put as it is large and heavily planted, I didn't necessarily notice a brightness difference, but the UV out put is much higher. If you have a large cage with lots of plants I highly recommend the high output lights. I got the double fixture withe high out put T5 UV bulbs as well as arcadia plant pro lights and couldn't be happier.

Thanks, so when you were using the regular 6% what type was it, regular T5 or T8 etc... I also assume by reading they even the regular arcadia bulbs are brighter than something like reptisun?

I used HO all the time with my reef tanks but never really thought about it for my enclosures. I have good foliage but I am not sure I would say densely planted.

I do not have a solar meter, butin terms of sheer brightness the T8 version of the Arcadia bulb seems to be about the same level of brightness as a reptisun T8. The T5 is much brighter
