Arcadia Bulbs - Silly Question?!

Hiya!

Just a quick UVB question, I previously brought an Arcadia T5 kit and the time has come to replace the bulb.

I brought the following kit: Arcadia ProT5 HO 24w + UVB forest 6% bulb

Is the below bulb the correct replacement one? I’m not sure about the mention of D3 in the name as it wasn’t mentioned on the bulb that came with the kit? Are all UVB bulbs D3 bulbs?!

Yes, that is correct. 24 inch fixture gets the 22 inch bulb and the one you have the link for is the 6% bulb we use for them.

I didn’t realise that UVB bulbs also provide D3 - I live in the UK in constant rain, maybe I’ll buy a few bulbs for my own health benefits!

LOL yes, that is the reason why we use UVB bulbs for the D3 production. The light that they provide allows the chameleon to convert D3.

I know people that use UVB bulbs for their pet birds lol.
