Hey everyone,
I live in Regina, which is in Saskatchewan in Canada. I have kept different reptiles and fish before and have been starting my hand at chameleons. As my second, I want a veiled.
After reading around the forums and what not, I am starting to realize I can, in a sense, select the sort of veiled I want if I buy through a private breeder. To an extent I can request gender, behaviour (depending on age), colour (again depending on age), and I guess the age too.
What I am asking is that, does anyone know of any shows in this area in which I can meet breeders and see different types of chams live? I would feel more confident in purchasing one from this type of environment than, almost blindly, online.
I know a really reliable guy at a pet store that I can order from, but I guess if I can talk to the breeder before, I can share my thoughts and what not.
Does anyone know of breeders that can safely get me one to Canada and meet any suggestions I might have to qualities in a veiled? Oooor, do you know of any shows happening around here or how I where I could check for some?
