Anyone bought crickets from LLLRep?

I've been getting my crickets through ghann, but I noticed that lllreptile has a thousand crickets for $20 shipping included. Shipping costs like 15 for ghanns alone! I did get them next day delivery though and they've been in great health.

Has anyone bought feeder crickets from lllreptile? Are they worth it or should I stick with ghann?

LL's crickets are as good as anybody's. I've ordered from them a couple of times. So far little to no die off occurred during or after shipping. You don't get them overnight though. I think they send them priority, but I forget if they came UPS or USPS. We have so many deliveries coming here it's hard to keep track. Roomy is an HSN nut.

The crickets from LLL are pretty good. You need to order the crickets by Monday midnight if you need them that week. Not much of a die off with the regular shipping either.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll give them a shot next time, and just make sure I order with enough time so I don't run out. Ghanns has been great, so has Flukers, but saving an extra 18 bucks would be great while still getting good feeders

they drop ship their crix, they are a middle man, i forget what company the crix are actually coming from.

i noticed you're all on the east coast, dont quote me but i beleive their drop shipper is shipping from the east coast.

I tried a couple west coast shipments, from lll, and i wont ever do it again. nor will i recommend anyone from the west coast trying it.

I get most of my crickets from Cricket Factory off of Ebay.......high quality and fast shipping.

Personally, I get my crickets from Mullberry Farms. It almost seemed like they gave me 2000 when I only ordered 1000 for 18 bucks or something like that.

My friend gets his crickets from LLL but was disappointed because he ordered medium and they sent him large and it looked like there was only about 500 crickets in there.

In the end, it is personal choice

I'm happy with LLLreptile. I order crickets from them all the time. Just try it once or twice and if you like it stick with them. They been helpful for me and their customer care is great. I only bought cages, supplies, and feeders from them. I'm from the west coast and the crickets arrived fine.

Thanks for the comments guys. We absolutely drop ship our crickets, as using a west coast cricket farm to ship to the east coast doesn't make much sense, and vice versa! We have a southern supplier, an east coast supplier and a west coast supplier. We buy in such large quantity, that in most cases, going directly to the "source" gets you the exact same, but more expensive crickets from the same place! We just recently changed west coast suppliers - so maybe something to consider if you had bad luck before.

Also - they are ALWAYS guaranteed to be the correct count and size, and are ALWAYS take care of if there is any major issue. Weather is always a factor, especially during summer, so no matter where you get your crickets or worms, have them shipped to a business, or held for pick up, not shipped to your house when it is 90+ degrees. Size varies greatly from supplier to supplier. One supplier's "small" is another's "week old" or "two week old", etc. I have used literally almost every major supplier in the US, so I know what some of you mean. From my experience, a "small" is generally a 2 week, a "medium" is anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks (so big size difference) and a large is 5 - 6 week. We sell them by "length", not by week or "small/medium/large". If you order 1/4", that is about a 2 week old cricket.

I've ordered crix once, along with my cage and light order. I'm in Wisconsin and they drop shiped from Michigan, I believe. They arrived fine, no doa's. Mullberry Farm's is cheaper tho. Like others have said, they are pretty much all good, just personal choice
