Anyone Able To Help With Finding A Pair of Bradypodion Species

Hello this is my first post and wanted to know if anyone can give me some pros and cons with certain bradypodion species. Also, how's the breeding of these species going? If anyone gets a second to give me any tips or general handling care for bradypodion species that are able to purchased in North America possibly being captive bred. Maybe if certain species are easier to take care of, and if anyone has a friend or knows someone currently breeding some of these species, that I can make a purchase of some. I would like to find someone with some fairly reasonable prices. Thank you guys and I really appreciate it. I'm not familiar with every bradypodion species but by physical looks, which probably sounds totally commercial but I wouldn't mind owning any of these the bradypodion thamnobate-new midlands cape dwarf, bradypodion damaranum-knysna dwarf, bradypodion pumilum- cape dwarf, and bradypodion transvaalense-transvaal dwarf. If there's any species that you'd recommend or maybe can explain to me why another species is better than another. Anything informational is a lot of help. I'm sure I'm not the only one that can't make a decision on favorite or one I can't live without...I WANT ALL OF EM lol. I gotta beef up my collection with some of these beauties, so that I'll be able to belong here. This is a really kool and great thing for breeders, collectors, lovers, and CHAMELEONS in a whole. You guys generally go outta your way if you have any knowledge of your own, to help another. Which sounds extremely stupid but is true, it's extremely rare and you can't really find anywhere anymore.

No one able to help me find someone with some of these species that are breeding them and are going to be having a litter maybe sometime, no rush.

Most users here are probably nervous about shipping their beloved children. Seeing there is but a couple eggs, for a lot of work. Small size. Too much love going into the whole process. It may be hard to find, unless there is someone in your immediate area.

Where are you located? US, Europe, UK?

If US, use the search feature, enter the name of the species, and you will find all the threads on that species. That will show you who has had them.

CHEERS!

Note that the most recent posting to this section of the forum before yours was about a year ago. If anyone were breeding them successfully, we'd probably hear it here first.

If you are really determined to give it a go, you'll probably have to wait until the next import, if and when that happens. Tough species. Hopefully you have the wallet and stomach for it. ;)

Try giving Linda Davidson a call at Sticky Tongue Farms. I think she was working with B. thamnobates.

Bradypodian have a dismal track record in this country.

This won't help you a lot but I received a pair of bradypodion transvaalense. There was an import that went bad when most of the chams died. Sure not like the imports coming in today. Those I would happily buy. Here are a few links.

Here are names of others who were part of that import.

coldbloodedAL, ChuckG, dragongoddess, I know I have forgotten some.

If you look at these threads you will see all of us who had them . Also was showjet who did the import.

i have a huge clutch of bradypodion pumilum available in germany... 40 juveniles from 5 different bloodlines. whould be no problem to send a bigger number of these to the usa.

Thank you guys for all the help, you guys are awesome. But yea I'm located in the US, Southern California to be exact. I'm just a solo breeder so I wouldn't really be able to put a large order together. But maybe you could through tha forums and you can count me in on a trio.
