Why does my Red Rudis male lack the nice red?!?!?!
do all males possess that nice red stripe or are their mixed variations to their colors?

It's normal with such chameleons that some animals show more color and some show less. Unfortunately most times just the animals with the most beautiful colorations where shown.
Often chameleon show the colours which made them famous just when they are displaying each other.
If you show your male a nice non gravid female he probably shows a much "nicer" colorization

Nope. its just his purple eyes that give it that appearance
