Anybody own a Toucan????

I've been looking into getting a Toucan,which has been my dream bird. I wanted to see if anyone owns one here

I'm pretty sure you can get them. Just gotta make sure they are registered and captive hatched I believe (if they are endangered please resist the urge to buy any from the scum of the earth- poachers). I could swear I have seen them for sale somewhere. If I recall and it is accesssble to you guys I will post back. I feel like I saw one somewhere when I was looking at Macaws

They are definately avaliable (at times). But holy hell they are EXPENSIVE!! Most being $1500-$2000 and getting up to $6000+ for the larger species that have been imprinted to humans or handfed etc..

Check these guys out if your pockets are deep.

And freaking high high maintenance is what an old lady I know that has one says but she also said that it's the most caring and loving bird she's ever owned and I think she has or had just about every kind of rare parrot etc. so do tons of research

No, but I have two fake ones hanging out in my tiki bar! They are really easy to take care of....
