any idea of what this black spot is?

This is my veiled chameleon sleeping, he has this black spot on both sides now

Could be a burn from the few pics I've seen of them, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, i was thinking either a burn or a bruise but im not entirely sure

if it's on both sides, it could be part of his color pattern. my girl has something similar to that.

Picture isn't that clear, but keep an eye on it because it could be a skin fungal infection.
