i live in central illinois and i was wondering if there are any cham breeders around here just out of curiosity.

Hello? Yes, I am a breeder and I am the only breeder of several species of chams except for veileds in the greater Chicagoland area (well, some trans. veileds are hatching now). Several forum members have purchased my chams and can vouch for me. :D

okay I'm new to the whole Cham world...what are trans. veiled? Sorry if this is a dumb questions and its really obvious. I'll just ask now even thoughI'm not sure they're what I'm looking for. When would they be ready and what are your prices? Where are you located I'm in Champaign IL and just wondering if driving to you to do a pick up is an option if its even okay with you or do you prefer shipping??

They are translucent veiled chameleons. For a picture of some nice juvie translucent veileds and a bit more information, see this thread: https://www.chameleonforums.com/translucent-veiled-chameleons-40900/. If you do a search for them here on the forum, you can find more threads with more information on them. Mine have been hatching for the past week so they are still neonates. I don't sell any of my babies (any species) until they are at least 3 months old. Not sure what the prices are going to be yet - it depends on how their color develops and if they are high-end or low-end, but I can tell you that they will be way less than what most people have been selling them for.

I don't mind people coming to my home to pick one out/up. I often welcome that as opposed to the person paying a ton of money for shipping and they get to actually carry it home that way. I have had plenty of people from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin come to pick up a cham before, so no, it's no problem (just don't tell everyone where I live...:D)

If you are interested in these or anything else I have available or for more information, just PM me.
