I am looking at getting this table from Ikea

I am going to be putting 3 of the 2x2x4 DIY enclosures on it.
My plan is to do drainage through the bottoms of the enclosures trays and drill a bit larger hole in the table to pass drainage tubing through.
I am wondering if anyone has used aquarium bulkhead fittings on these PVC bottoms. I want to try and keep water away from the table since the top is just fiberboard and thought that using a bulkhead and a PVC pipe or flexible tubing might work. I don't know if you can clamp those down to the thinness of the PVC tray thickness.
