Current Problem - I purchased this little girl about 2 weeks ago. She was underweight (I purchased her just days after laying eggs without knowing it) dehydrated and under a old UVB bulb. I didn't notice any issues with her eye on date of purchase but noticed shortly after she closes her one eye. When she isn't preforming maintance on it, which she does more often than the other eye, it looks fine, very little if any swelling and no discharge, she just closes it at least half the day. I have been rinsing it at least twice a day with warm water and have put terramyacin on it twice now to prevent any kind of infection. She hunts and eats like a champ and uses the eye to hunt and when I'm doing cage maintance. How long do I let this eye go before I have it checked out or am I worrying about it too much?
