My veiled chameleon constantly eats. I hand feed her, everytime I offer her something she eats it. I often feed her twice a day. Somedays she eats 20+ crickets. Is there a limit to how much she should eat, or is this normal?

I think your feeding her a good amount Millie, if I remember correctly she is very young and it is normal for a veiled to eat you out of your house and home:D personally I wouldn't feed her any more than 20 there is such a thing as over feeding and when she gets older you'll have to start cutting her back. Variety is always a good thing if you are not offering more you may want to start, JMO

how old is she? what size are the crickets? what else do you feed her?

overfeeding an adult female can have consequences.

For a small growing baby chameleon 20 pin head or small crickets is no problem. When your female chameleon is older and reaching adulthood is when you will want to cut back on the feeding.

At the oldest she is 3 monthes. She eats crickets, I'd say they are ------ (long at the most) I fed her waxworms before but not often.

Ok I read that when they are growing they eat more. Also I know she has grew since I had her but never seen her shed? Is that possible?
