Trip is my 17 month old Cham. When we adopted this little guy he was 11 wks and healthy, energetic, normal eating at that age when aiming for prey. About 3 months after having him studying him I noticed his aim is stay off but he was still watching every move I made so I changed his food container to many different types. I researched & researched nothing was working to help see the prey better. I did notice that his pupils were very different from each other one of them is normal and the other is very small. I took him to the vet the Dr tells me that it's a vitamin A defiecenty. After running several testa He gave Trip a Vitamin A shot. And some eye drops. His eyes seemed to be more sensitive. The dr couldn't tell me what to expect. Over the last year his left eye has gotten worse he opens it but not much which is putting more stress on his left eye. I give him Vitamin A twice a month. We have to force feed him (by putting 1 finger on each side of jawline which opens his mouth for the to get him started. He drinks from a syringe. He's very healthy and active most days. This isn't easy it's a lot of work but as we (Cham owners) know they are high maintenance but we'll worth all of it. This is just a brief description of how Trips life has been in the last 17 months.
