Ambilobe chameleon always dark in vivarium

I recently bought an ambilobe panther chameleon from rhyll
I ve been told it's a male and it's around 5-6 months,
Ive had it for 4 days now and it seems to be a dark chocolate brown to black when in side the vivarium

Once I bring it out of the viv it does seem to brighten up a little

It's eating well and has had a few poos

But I have been told they are supposed to be a lot brighter than the colours it's showing

It also seems to be hiding away

So I'm worried about it, any help would be appreciated?

He is probably still getting use to his new cage. Leave him in there for a week or two. he will get use to it and start relaxing.
