Amazon doesnt understand UVB

So this magic UV light can kill corona in seconds...

Any of us know this is all horse apples...

The amount required to even meet "outdoor sunlight" would be enough to burn your hand if you got within a few inches of the robot
By that logic sunlight kills viruses in seconds...
Im sure that uv light goes right through all those glass display cases :)

Night, its actually you that are confused in this case.

The light is not UVB, or UVA, like you mention of matching the sun.

Its UVC Light, they sell them for this specific reason. They are extremely dangerous to humans, thats why the robot. Lots of clean rooms use them, in sockets where they are turned on ONLY when the room is empty.

They will kill the virus, and basically anything else living they come in contact with.

UVC does not make it through the atmosphere pretty much at all. So no sunlight would not kill the virus, as we don't get that UVC down to us.

You are right about the glass though, it won't go through the glass.

Yea i have not looked into "projected" UVC. Only the ones that are built into filters, aka the ones that run air or water almost directly on the tube, and the air/water only gets about and inch away from the bulb.

I kinda wonder the output levels needed to sterilize from feet away in seconds...

They are pretty bright.

There is a youtube Video, the guy plays with one. He burns his hand pretty bad in seconds. He only turned it on for a couple seconds and said it was very unpleasant, and he got a sunburn.

Amazon's I would reckon are even stronger. Those on thag bot look pretty strong to project that blue light in that lit room like that.

I'm not sure if anyone has tested Covid, but UVC is known to kill pretty much any virus or bacteria that has been tested. So there is logic in their idea.
