I live in Kula, HI where Jacksons roam free.
On my walk today my boyfriend and I came across two wild chameleons reveling in spring activities, so to speak.
The male wandered off into the trees and the female stayed prone, eyes closed, barely moving. I didn't want her to wander into the street so I have her here at my house. She has turned a bit more brown but still seems lethargic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also I looked for local Herpetologists and the only one for HI is on another island. If anyone can refer me to someone on Maui I would appreciate that too.
Mahalo!
