Almost done my first custom enclosure

Hey guys so im almost done. its 42 high 22 wide and 16 front to back I was just wondering how i can make the exposed wood at the top where i cut for the lights and dripper waterproof, also i was wondering what would be a good way to attach the screen im going to buy? here are some pics

Is the wood you used for this pressboard?
It looks like it in the close picture of the top. This wood will do very poorly when exposed to water. It absorbs the water and expands.

i know witch is why i asked what i could use to waterproof it -_- really wish people would read and look at pictures

I read your post, I'm trying to tell you it dosn't matter what you use it will absorb water!
I really wish people would wear idiot signs to save me time.

Yeah and pressboard is made up of harmful chemicals I wouldnt use that as a cham enclosure. Your not going to be able to waterproof that. Why not just build a cage out of real wood? Pressboard is junk!

ya i never really thought of that just thought id turn an unused shelf into an enclosure :s. only reason i started is because iv seen people say stuff abou tspraying with a water proof paint

Well if that press wood could heart your cam I would go with making a frame out of some wood from home depot shouldn't be to hard if your not lazy! xD

like i said i just thought of the idea of making an unused shelf into an enclosure, its not that im lazy just thought it would be conveinent
