Allopurinol dosing

Does anyone know the dosing for a 40g Male Chameleon for Allopurinol and where I can buy some online for him?

It’s a prescription only medication. I advise getting from a vet who will prescribe the correct dosing.

Is it for the chameleon with the swollen knee?
if so, why didn’t the vet prescribe it?

@kinyonga yes it is. The doctor was originally worried about his size and giving the medicine. I called last night in tears and they are having Allopurinol compounded to a dose that’s right for his size and hopefully some pain meds too. He is in distress and having a really hard time right now. I’ve been giving him drops of water to keep him hydrated. @kinyonga and @MissSkittles any recommendations on how/what to grind up for him so I can continue giving him his bugs And nutrition until he gets more strength back? I’m literally nursing him back to health. My poor little guy.

Be careful not to aspirate it into the lungs. Go slow and easy and make sure you ease it into the back of his mouth a little at a time.
