Alder twigs help

Are alder sticks ok to use as branches ? As long as I bake them

I think any branch that you bake and is not thorny or doesn't have anything bad in the branches are good.

I believe alder is safe. I have seen it used on bearded dragon forums. I havent ever baked branches as they wouldnt fit in my oven, but I do wash with soapy water and a 10% bleach solution if I am worried about them. But I have also used plenty of branches that I didnt wash at all.
