This movie was going to be better unfortunately. I read the "final" script about a year and half ago and saw about a half hour of rough scenes. It was orignally weirder and scarier. Apparently WB wanted to make it more kid friendly so they could sell toys, underwear, paper plates etc.

I love spike jonze though!

LOL Syn, it was first published in 1963. No reason you should have read it, not like its a globally recognised title....yet!

I've heard about it, part of the library I grew up around had a whole poster that was like 2'x4' about the book.. just never read it.

Yeah I saw that trailer when I went to see Transformers 2. Looked like it will be a pretty good movie. Never knew it was a book though. So don't feel bad Syn.
