Aggressive or Shy

So since Ive had Ren my 6 month old female Jackson chameleon she has never really been an aggressive eater and I've never really seen her eat more than one cricket/superworm in front of me. I read all over these forums of people's chams eating 6-10 crickets a day and I usually put 3 in her feeder cup and she may eat 1 or 2 a day. Is there a reason she may not be eating like a cow?

There are a few situations that could be related to loss of appetite.

What are her temps like? if its too cold she may not be able to digest properly and so will not eat.

Have you tried other feeders? A lot of chams are not too find if crickets or get bored eating the same thing all the time.

Is she due a shed? Some chams lose appetite during or coming up to a shed.

Is it possible she's producing or is gravid with infertiles?

A lot of members on here feed every other day. My girl has had a loss of appetite lately do we switched to feeding 3-5 feeders every second day as opposed to 1-3 every day.

Her temps are 82 up at basking spot and vary all the way to the bottom where they are at 72.

She just shed maybe a week ago.

It wasn't long ago I posted a pic and people said she looked gravid so it could be a possibility she's prego.

Maybe I'll start feeding every other day. I only have availability to crickets, mealworms, and superworms. I did plan on ordering 15 horn worms online here next week. Wife dosent like dubais lol.

Hopfully she'll take interest here soon and perk up a bit.
