Age?

I got this dude on April 15. The people I rescued him from had him for about a week before that. April 15th picture and a pic from today added.

From the first pic, I’d guesstimate an age of around 2 1/2 to 3 months old. He was just a little guy. He’s still growing now, but already is very handsome.

Would you say about 5-6 months old now? Your Cham is pretty too, how old and what gender?

This is my female vailed, I got her in February and she was about 2 months old. Your little guy is probably around the same age.

lol you guys are matching in that picture that’s awesome. Honestly size wise I would say they’re probably about the same age.

Yes, about 5+ months sounds about right. The Cham of my profile is my spicy veiled girl Stella, who just turned 6 sometime recently. She’s my oldest. I have 4 others of ages ranging from 2 years to unknown, panthers and veileds.

Where and what you post depends on what you have to say or ask. There are some longer running threads for fun, like https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/tail-tuesday.171362/ I could have sworn there was one for pj’s (sleeping chams), but I can’t find it. This was started a while ago and sadly dropped off, but I think it needs a revival. https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/introductions.172615/ (of course, under 18 especially needs to safeguard their privacy) and just bop around and check things out. There’s several enclosure threads to check out and maybe get some inspiration from. This is a pretty active community and has been here since 2003, so there’s tons of info. Every time I google a chameleon and often just a reptile question, the forum comes up as the first results.
One of the things that I did when I was new and still do, is I try to read every thread posted, whether it relates to me or not. I learned a lot that way.

When I first came here, I had never participated in any on line forum, chat or anything either. You’ll get the hang of it.
